We bought a pair of Gepida Reptilias and our range immediately increased. We were soon covering over 30 miles a ride and Somerset is surprisingly hilly. Since April 26th I have ridden over 1600 miles and we are half way through National Cycle Route 3, Bristol to Lands End...Gepida Alboin - a journalist's choice for ‘Route des Grandes Alpes’
When presented with the opportunity write a guidebook to the Route des Grandes Alpes I knew that I wanted to research the route from the perspective of an e-bike rider... having discussed the specifics of the trip with the friendly and helpful team at Nationwide e-bikes, we decided that the most suitable bike for the trip would be a Gepida Alboin 1000... I was quickly impressed...

Whilst we are still allowed to exercise once a day Christine has been riding her Gepida around the local area. She sent me this after a phone call where she had a little technical issue with her bike. A few pictures from sunny Wales where you can see that I am enjoying my bike.

Christine's - Lands End to John O'Groats Charity Ride - The bike was a treat to ride, and I had no trouble at all. I stopped at the odd garage and they checked my tire pressure, my cousin cleaned and oiled the chain when I was in Glasgow.

The hardback Gepida MTB I was loaned was extremely capable handling steep climbs with ease. The smoothness and progression of power settings were impressive. Riding through the muddy sections of the ride was 'a breeze' and the bike was very stable during descents on the forest roads. Would I want to lead another ebike MTB ride? Definitely yes!
